Karl­sruhe is a beau­ti­ful city laid out in a unique fan shape. It is locat­ed just 80 km (50 mi) from Stuttgart and is a great des­ti­na­tion for vis­i­tors inter­est­ed in archi­tec­ture, cul­tur­al events, and out­door activities.

It fea­tures mag­nif­i­cent archi­tec­ture from the last three cen­turies as well as many mon­u­ments, foun­tains, and pub­lic squares. What’s more, you can access most of these attrac­tions on foot!

From street par­ties and open-air con­certs, to muse­um exhi­bi­tions and leisure facil­i­ties to the restau­rants, cafes and clubs, Karl­sruhe is a city that’s all about cul­ture. How­ev­er, it is also a green city. There are many parks with recre­ation­al areas, plus it takes only min­utes to go out­side the city and explore the amaz­ing Black Forest.
