Stuttgart’s Wintertraum is a festive winter attraction that transforms part of the Schlossplatz into a seasonal wonderland. It generally opens a week before the Stuttgarter Weihnachtsmarkt in November, and the Christmas market gets set up seamlessly around it. The Wintertraum remains open through the twelve days of Christmas, ending on Heilige Drei Könige, or Epiphany.

Highlights of the 2026 Wintertraum include a new open-air roller-skating rink (no time limit, bring your own skates or borrow a pair) and beautifully decorated stalls selling hot drinks and winter treats. Set against the backdrop of the Neues Schloss, it offers a cheerful winter ambiance that visitors of all ages can enjoy.
