Jaz­zOpen Stuttgart is orga­nized every year by Opus GmbH, invit­ing the great tal­ents of the jazz world.

The fes­ti­val is more than a meet­ing place for inter­na­tion­al stars and leg­ends: the name invokes the festival’s val­ue of open­ness. Rather than sep­a­rat­ing neigh­bor­ing music gen­res, they try to make their prox­im­i­ty more tan­gi­ble. Big names from Soul and R & B, rep­re­sen­ta­tives of African music cul­ture, and funk bands have per­formed at Jaz­zOpen Stuttgart.
