Bohnenviertelfest – “Bean District” Festival

The Bean District Festival is a street festival that takes place every year towards the end of July in the Bohnenviertel. This Stuttgart neighborhood is located just south of downtown and originally got its name because its primarily poor inhabitants planted beans in their gardens. Today the Bohnenviertel is an excellent place to visit for antique shops, fashion stores, art galleries, and traditional craftsman workshops.
Organized by HGV Bohnenviertel, the Bohnenviertelfest offers a varied entertainment program every year. This includes music performances, children’s programs, craftsman stands, and food vendors.
