Stuttgart Events & Festivals

The Musik­fest Stuttgart is a cel­e­bra­tion of clas­si­cal music tak­ing place annu­al­ly in Stuttgart. Since it is pre­sent­ed by the Inter­na­tion­al Bach Acad­e­my (Inter­na­tion­al Bachakadamie), it should be no sur­prise that Bach fea­tures heav­i­ly among the per­for­mances, but oth­er clas­si­cal com­posers are well represented.

The fes­ti­val focus­es pri­mar­i­ly on per­for­mances by pro­fes­sion­al musi­cians, includ­ing orches­tras, soloists, and choral groups both from the region and dis­tant coun­tries. The pro­gram also includes lec­tures, work­shops, and oppor­tu­ni­ties for peo­ple to meet with musi­cians and share their thoughts.
