CineLatino – CineEspañol Tübingen

CineLatino began as a small Brazilian film series in 1992. Since then the festival has grown dramatically and has developed into the most important platform for Spanish and Latin American film in Germany. CineLatino, focused on Latin American film, and CineEspañol, open to all Spanish-language cinema, are both part of the Filmtage Tübingen, which also organizes the French Film Days.
The festival presents new Spanish-language films, carefully selected to highlight aesthetic diversity and promote intercultural exchange. Festival director and film producer Paolo de Carvalho invites both well-known and yet to be discovered directors and actors to every festival so that the audience can exchange directly with them. There are film screenings not only in Tübingen but also in Stuttgart and Freiburg. Just check this year’s program for details!
