The Bean Dis­trict Fes­ti­val is a street fes­ti­val that takes place every July in the Bohnen­vier­tel. This Stuttgart neigh­bor­hood is locat­ed just south of downtown and orig­i­nal­ly got its name because its pri­mar­i­ly poor inhab­i­tants plant­ed beans in their gar­dens. Today the Bohnen­vier­tel is an excel­lent place to vis­it for antique shops, fash­ion stores, art gal­leries, and tra­di­tion­al crafts­man workshops.

Orga­nized by HGV Bohnen­vier­tel, the Bohnen­viertelfest offers a var­ied enter­tain­ment pro­gram every year. This includes music per­for­mances, chil­dren’s pro­grams, crafts­man stands, and food vendors.
