Stuttgart Events & Festivals

Stuttgart’s African fes­ti­val is a vibrant cel­e­bra­tion of a range of African cul­tures. Host­ed on the first or sec­ond week­end of July every year, the fes­ti­val takes over the Erwin-Schöt­tle-Platz to the south of downtown Stuttgart.

The pro­gram includes sev­er­al live music per­for­mances, dance shows, speak­ers, and a chil­dren’s pro­gram. A vari­ety of ven­dors offer art­work, cloth­ing, jew­el­ry, and tra­di­tion­al hand­i­crafts as well as deli­cious food and drink from all over the con­ti­nent. This is tru­ly an event not to be missed!
